KOFG is a ministry of Tres Hermanas Educational Media Foundation of Texas, Inc.
The station is under the direction of Lonnie "Doc" Horton with a very capable assistant, my dear wife, Edna.
Our purpose is to reach as many souls for our Lord Jesus Christ as possible within the outreach of our radio signal. This station operates without making any pleas for funds over the air. Our pleas are for lost souls and the encouragement of our Christian brothers and sisters in Christ to "take a stand" for our Lord in these days of apostasy of falling away from the faith.
Our prayer is that through the programming of the "Old Fashion Gospel", our listeners that are searching for that "something" that will give them peace of mind and happiness into their lives, will find it by placing their "faith and trust" in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the answer!
"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2nd Peter 3:9 (KJV)
We take this stand for our Lord and reference Psalm 34 as my testimony of the saving Grace of my Lord Jesus Christ.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
1. In the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Old and New Testaments. In the preservation of God's Word through the Masoretic Text and the Greek Textus Receptus and that the King James Authorized Version is the preserved Word of God for our English speaking language. Psalms 12:6 & 7
2. Mankind is sinful, in need of salvation, and unable to save himself. Jesus Christ died for the sins of all mankind and salvation is by grace, through faith alone, based on the finished work of Christ on the cross. John 3:16 & 17.
3. In the bodily resurrection of Christ and His bodily ascension into heaven, where He now intercedes for believers. I Corinthians 15: 3 & 4.
4. In the reality of Heaven and Hell. Matthew 10: 28. Matthew 7:21
5. That man was created as a responsible being and as such, he may choose or resist the grace of God. Acts 7:51
6. In the eternal security of the believer. John 10:28 Romans 8:38 & 39
7. In the pre-tribulation rapture of all believers and the pre-millennial return and millennial reign of the Lord Jesus Christ. I Thessalonians 4:13-18 Matthew 25:31-46 Revelation 19:11-21
8. In the obligation of every believer to live a holy life and to witness to the lost of the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 1:16
9. That speaking in tongues and working of sign miracles gradually ceased as the New Testament scriptures were completed and therefore are no longer for today.
10. That the extremes of Calvinism and Arminianism are both not biblical.
11. That all forms of compromise with liberalism, ecumenicism, neo-evangelicalism, or the charismatic movement should be avoided by those who wish to live in obedience to God's Word.
12. Our desire is to bring to our listeners Christian music that will cause you to think upon the Lord Jesus Christ, not the things that gratify the flesh.
